Asim is a senior XLRI certified coach with an overall work experience of 42 years, of which 22 years were in in Talent Acquisition & Retention, Talent Development, Coaching and Facilitation.
Asim's senior management career involved extensive business operations, large-scale management of geographies, franchisees, people, process, projects and strategic decision-making. Prior to starting his Coaching journey, he was the India CEO with Gi Group wherein he led the organization’s business across their 10 branches in India, reporting to the Global CEO based in Milan, Italy. Before that he was the Managing Director of Futurestep/Korn Ferry in India. He held P&L responsibility for over 7 years and helped the organization set its footprint in the area ofExecutive Search, HR Advisory and Talent Acquisition & Management.
He has deep rooted background in Sales & Marketing having started his career in Xerox India in the early 80’s. In addition to this, he has extensive experience in Finance & Commercial functions. Asim has created high performance organizations through empowered teams with his ‘entrepreneurial’ bent of mind, passion for innovation, while simplifying complexity and striving for excellence.
In the last 7 years since becoming a full-time coach, Asim has personally coached more than 600 Executives/Managers with 1200+ Coaching hours. He has led variants like Executive Coaching, Group Coaching, Career Transition Coaching & Career Coaching/Advice for MNCs, Large Indian Corporates and premier business schools. He has also led multiple National Projects in L&D & Corporate Strategy.
Asim's clients include Citibank, RBS, Barclays, Standard Chartered Bank, Westpac, General Motors, PwC, SunLife, Mars India, DuPont, IBM, TCS, Bank of Baroda, BPCL, JCB, IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Kozhikode, IIM Shillong etc. in the space of executive and team coaching & Corporate Training.
Asim is a graduate in Economics (Hons) from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi University and holds a Masters in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics, Delhi University.
