Manu Bhaker

Manu Bhaker, born on 18 February 2002, is an Indian Olympic shooter who has achieved remarkable success on the international stage. At the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, she won two bronze medals. She first secured a bronze in the women's 10-metre air pistol event, making her the first Indian woman shooter to win a medal at the Olympics. Later, she teamed up with Sarabjot Singh in the mixed 10-metre air pistol team event to win another bronze, becoming the first Indian woman to win two medals at a single Olympics and the first Indian since independence to achieve this feat.

In her earlier career, Manu Bhaker won a gold medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games at the age of 16. She also became the youngest Indian to win a gold medal at the ISSF World Cup in 2018.

Bhaker is a 2025 Arjuna Awardee.
